Mykita - MMCRAFT015 - Mykita & Maison Margiela - Glossy Gold 。A constant search for innovation, the visionary use of materials and a wealth of experience in eyewear design are the defining elements behind MYKITA’s collections. A key factor in the company’s success is its holistic business philosophy, which brings together expertise from all disciplines under a single roof, the MYKITA HAUS. It thrives on the power of a self-contained network that enables interdisciplinary research and the transfer of technologies. This all-encompassing mentality is also reflected in the MYKITA Shops; the unique retail concept unites the firm’s own design principles with optical precision made in Germany. Metal Collection From the classic and reduced to more avant-garde designs, the supremely light and flexible metal frames are all meticulously handcrafted from stainless steel sheets less than 0.5 millimetres thick. The openly displayed hinge is a hallmark of Mykita design. Lenses offer total defence from UVA and UVB rays as well as maximum glare protection. Mykita & Maison Margiela MYKITA and Maison Margiela are linked by a shared concept of the creative process – the reinterpretation of historical forms, radical experimentation with constructions and an unconventional approach to materials.
