These are actually quite heavy (2.3 oz) so not flimsy and won\'t fall off (would work great holding your hair back on top of your head too). I don\'t know what the writing means inside the frame, but guess it says about UV or something. NO ONE ELSE will HAVE THESE!! Bought in Mexico. They measure 5-3/4\" across the front (center of the lenses) ~ 2-1/2\" top to bottom of each lens. The thickness of the frame where the lenses are is almost 1/2\", so you know these are made well and not flimsy/cheap. Check out the rest of my closet for what you didn\'t know you needed!
